OUR MISSION
STRIDE exists to promote cultural humility, empower marginalized groups, and dismantle systems of oppression in the community of Scituate, Massachusetts. STRIDE works to:
Affirm the value of diversity and inclusion for overall community health and well-being
Disrupt patterns of prejudice in our community by responding to incidents of intolerance, hate, and bigotry
Advocate for school and municipal policies promoting diversity and equity
Give visibility to and increase awareness of issues related to diversity and discrimination through educational opportunities
CALENDAR
STRIDE Monthly Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every month from 7:30-8:30pm via Zoom. All are welcome. When you join STRIDE, you will receive calendar invites for upcoming meetings.
We also maintain a calendar of other events in our community that might be of interest to those who support our mission.
RESOURCES
We curate resources to help STRIDE members and our community at large learn more about the issues we care about. Check out our resource list or attend an event to expand your point of view, learn from new perspectives, or gain new skills to approach difficult conversations or situations.
